Today we made purple cow milkshakes. If you would like to make these at home, here's the recipe:
1 can (12 oz.) frozen grape juice concentrate
2 cups milk
4 cups vanilla ice cream
Pour the juice concentrate and milk into a blender or food processor. Scoop in the ice cream. Cover and blend for 30 seconds. Serve right away. (No blender or food processor? Cut the recipe in half and scoop the ice cream into a 2-quart jar with remaining ingredients. Cover tightly and shake. Or beat in a large bowl with an egg beater.)

Kershaw Ryan
Today 1st and 2nd graders joined the school at Kershaw Ryan State Park for a day of fun. We enjoyed swimming (even though it was a little cold), dodge ball, and hiking. It turned out to be a beautiful day and topped off a beautiful year of school. Enjoy these pictures. Before you know it these faces will be those of 2nd and 3rd graders!

Terrific Tiger Trip to Washington City Aquatic Center
Today was the school's Terrific Tiger field trip. Each first and second grader has been working hard to complete academic and behavior goals throughout the year in order to go on this trip. This year's trip was to Washington City Aquatic Center where we swam and ate pizza. It was a trip we won't soon forget, as you can see from the pictures below!
