Winter Art

Today 1st and 2nd graders celebrated winter with two art activities. We made icicles inside and we went outside to snow paint with colored water. Oh, and while we were outside we just couldn't resist making snow angels. Take a look at our fun:

Christmas is almost here!

Christmas is almost here and 1st and 2nd graders are getting ready. They made Christmas presents last week. This week they decorated Rudolph cupcakes. Thanks for sending the yummy treats for our Christmas party.

Gingerbread Houses

Today 1st and 2nd graders decorated gingerbread houses (well, ours were actually Rice Krispie houses). Thanks, parents, for sending candies to decorate. We resisted the urge to snack while we decorated. A big thanks goes to Mrs. Boyce and Ms. Huntsman for making Rice Krispie treats and assembling the houses so we could add the finishing touches!
